COUPONING FOR A CAUSE - WEEK 4

Week 4 of our 5 week Couponing for a Cause shopping!

Every Monday I will post exactly what I plan on shopping for.
I will be stockpiling these items to make an amazing donation to the Salvation Army at very minimal cost.  You can do the same, follow along with me and then bring your goods to the Indian Creek Festival on Saturday, September 17th.  We will have a booth set up ready to take your donation.  Then for donating you will get in on our giveaway raffles that our wonderful sponsors have donated!

Read about WEEK 1 & WEEK 2 & WEEK 3

There are some great toiletry items at Walgreens and Rite Aid; I also plan on grabbing some cereal at Albertsons for less then a dollar a box!

I will be rolling my rewards from  from WEEK 3 to keep my OOP as low as possible!
Here is what I plan on doing this week.
You can do the same as I am to help make a difference!

Not local?
That's ok, still follow along and make a donation in your home town!

Every little bit makes a huge difference!

  1. both of our Walgreens in Twin post limits of 1 per customer per day until Saturday for freebies. And even that, by noon on Sunday, there are hardly any free items left on the shelf. So, while I understand the concept of donating, I would not want to take the opportunity away from other folks who would like to get a couple of free items for their families. Couponing is not fun anymore because of the shelfclearers who hide behind "I donate all of my ***" phrase.

  2. I have noticed that each Walgreens seem to handle the limits differently based on stock availability. My locations in Caldwell have great stockk that they allow us to have 4 of each register reward item. They also allow us to place orders if we are wanting more.
