STOCKPILE COOKING - French Dip Sandwiches!

(mine never look this good)!

FRENCH DIP SANDWICHES
GRILLED FRIES
SALAD

My kids have a baseball game tonight, so for me it is very important to get them a good meal that will keep them full while not weighing them down.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Deli Roast Beef or Leftover Roast
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Onions (sliced)
  • 2 cans of Beef Broth
  • 2 Packets of Auj Seasoning
  • Hoggie Rolls
  • Fresh Tators
FRENCH DIP:
Put the Roast beef, Beef broth and Auj Seasoning in the Crockpot on the lowest setting so the meat can simmer all day and really soak up the yummy flavor of the Auj.  Before you get ready to serve your sandwiches, Caramelize the sliced onions in a a pan with a dash of Olive Oil.  I like to build the sandwich with roast beef on the bottom, top with caramelized onions and then a slice of Swiss cheese on top to melt over the goodies.  Use the Auj juice that the meat was simmering in to dip your sandwich.

GRILLED FRIES:
I like to make these on the grill, but the oven would work just fine also.  Drizzle some Olive Oil on a cookie sheet stick on the grill to heat.  Meanwhile slice the potatoes into fries (choose your thickness) lay on the hot cookie sheet and sprinkle with your favorite seasoning.  Flip fries half way through cooking so they are golden brown on both sides.
